About the Department

The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company has been in operation since 1929, and is committed and ready to respond to emergencies within the community. JVFC operates out of a main station and also a sub station, with fleet consisting of three Engines, one Heavy Rescue, two Medic Units, one Supply Unit and a variety of Utility and Brush Trucks. We respond mutual aid to Harford, York and Baltimore Counties.

JVFC hosts several community events throughout the year, including: bingos, bull roasts, and open houses.
